James Wolfe Christmas sponsorBy: Simon Hughes
Conran in Greenwich is proud to be the main sponsors of James Wolfe’s school fairs, the latest being the Christmas fair which is to be held at the Randall Place campus on Friday 6th December 2019. Conran and James Wolfe have worked together the past few years, securing an excellent relationship with a joint goal in mind – to benefit the primary school, which has two different sites within close proximity to one another, one on Royal Hill and the other on Randall Place. Both of which fall within the West Greenwich area, with Greenwich High Road separating the two sites.
Both school locations are just a short walk to Greenwich’s Royal Park, the town centre where you will find the historic covered Greenwich market, along with many shops, the Thames Clipper at Cutty Sark and National Maritime Museum to name a few famous local landmarks.
James Wolfe primary school has an exciting history behind it, as well as being very well known and sought after in the local area due to the excellent work they do, especially with their centre for the hard of hearing. James Wolfe was a former British army officer who was known for his training reforms and was a Major General in the Battle of the Plains of Abraham in Quebec in 1759.
Staff from the Greenwich office of Conran, located on Greenwich High Road, will be attending the Christmas fete where they will host a Conran stall. The stall is where the team will be holding our famous Artwork Drawing Competition where children attempt to draw the best representation of a house (from one of a brochure of property particulars we provide), and the winner wins a fabulous prize. There are also runner-up prizes, and above all, each entrant pays a small fee which then gets donated to the school. Conran is proud to do our bit.
The team at Conran Greenwich comprise of Tamer Alcici, Branch Partner, Hayden Deol, Assistant Manager, Doug Norris, Senior Sales Consultant and Evie Stevens, Negotiator. All are working out of 221 Greenwich High Road, Greenwich, London, SE10 8NB.
Nearest forms of transport to and from the schools are buses of which run along Greenwich High Road through to Romney Road, Cutty Sark DLR station located just off Creek Road, Greenwich mainline and DLR stations also situated just off Greenwich High Road and opposite to Tarves Way, with a cut-through route for pedestrians through Straightsmouth.
