What The Seller Says

“Things we love about this house:

Space for us all - there’s room to be together and room to be apart. Particularly during lockdown, we’ve been able to work and school from home without getting in each other's way and then enjoy coming together as a family in the evenings and weekends.

The quiet - when sitting in the kitchen reading the papers of a weekend, you’d not know we were in exciting, busy London. The street is set back from all main roads and the neighbours are a lovely bunch to say hello to when out and about.

Green space - our garden has seen our young children playing outside in all weathers, and we get to watch the Squirrels playing too which is super cute. We have easy access to Luxmore Gardens which is a divine secluded park a few minutes away, and also the huge community parks of Telegraph Hill and Hilly Fields where we’ve held parties and been to local festivals.

The area - we really lucked out with this area, as it’s in the middle of so much. It’s fab in terms of transport, with loads of different lines all within about 10-15 mins walk. We get to mix with the students and trendy types in the pubs and bars of New Cross and Deptford, but also have the swanky restaurants and shops of Brockley and Greenwich. We will miss the Fat Walrus pub around the corner immensely, as we practically raised our kids in there!

The people - through neighbours, nursery and the wonderful local school we’ve made some really great friends while living here.”
