What The Seller Says
Both of us will be emotional when we leave Whitbread Road behind. We bought the flat in 2017 as our first home together and have shared some incredible memories within its four walls. A private garden was a must and we fell in love with our outdoor space - shady in hot weather thanks to the large tree above the deck area and with plenty of space to accommodate friends and family for big events. We think there's a bit of magic there too - World Cup and Euros parties became a tradition, almost enforced by our nearest and dearest because of how well we did when watching matches in the garden. The bifold doors in both the kitchen and living room are our favourite features. When both are fully open, it brings fresh air through the whole flat and gives the whole property an al-fresco Mediterranean feel.
When you live here it's impossible not to embrace the local community, from the born and bred Brockley locals, the amazing next-door neighbours and the overwhelming feeling of belonging that comes from being perfectly placed for Hilly Fields, Brockley Road, Mid Town and Crofton Park. The property was in such good condition when we moved in November 2017 that any changes we made were minor and cosmetic; some colour changes, a new floor in the hallway, some landscaping and planting as well as some additional storage in the shape of a shed.
I fell in love with the local area during my time at Goldsmiths and it didn't take long for my Northwest London bred fiancée to as well. Were sure you will too. Well be staying local - neither of us can imagine living anywhere else after our four years at the wonderful Whitbread Road.
