“This was our first house in London, and we knew it was perfect for us as a young family.
The generous sized rooms and sunlight pouring in every room is what attracted us to the house. Close to home is a good choice of supermarkets and high street shops alongside independent and well-established restaurants and bars. And for those with children, youll find a range of Ofsted-rated Good and Outstanding schools for all ages nearby. Our children go to Sherington Primary and are very happy there.
Greenwich park, Charlton park, and Blackheath all great outdoor spaces are in close proximity, frequently visited by us especially through the lockdown! The liveliness and great restaurants in Greenwich market and the O2 are a big plus.
The house is located within walking distance to Charlton station making travel into the city very accessible. My husband loves the location as door to door it takes him less than 30 mins to reach his office in Canary Wharf or London Bridge with an option to take overground train from Charlton or a short 10 mins bus ride to North Greenwich Tube station.
What we are going to miss the most are our lovely neighbours who are very friendly and always happy to help. The house is cul-de-sac lending it privacy and quiet. Due to the family growing we decided to sell this house, with a heavy heart after being here for over 9 years. It has been our abode and we have had many firsts here. We hope to continue in the same area..."
