About this property
Such a unique property in the form of this converted three bedroom flat, formally a salvation army hall which comes with an integral garage.
A great opportunity to acquire this unique converted flat, which occupies the entire first floor and comes with a share of freehold.
The building itself was formally a meeting hall and this property includes a rare integral garage.
Internally the space is fantastic at over 1,000 square feet and is in need of modernisation, perfect for someone who wishes to put their own stamp on their new home.
The living room is one of the stand out features, with it's huge 24 x 19 internal size, ample storage and dining space.
The kitchen is a good size and separate and you will also find a four piece bathroom suite, which includes a bath tub and shower cubicle, two double size bedrooms and a further bedroom, perfect as a work from home study.
Further benefits include loft for storage, double glazed windows and gas central heating.
Maze Hill mainline station is just a few minutes walk away, which is great for commuters and offers a direct route into central London.
Cutty Sark DLR station is located in the town centre and is considered a very short walk away, as well as Greenwich park.
In the immediate location there are a wide range of shops such as bakeries, delicatessens, coffee shops, supermarkets and chemist to name a few.
What The Sellers Say -
We both loved the area and had lived here for a few years before we looked into buying a property full of character and history.
We were drawn to this converted Victorian Hall until our work commitments led us to move away. We believe it was built in the early 1900s as a Salvation Army Hall for the people of East Greenwich. It has been a very successful rental property over the years for us and well be sad to say goodbye.
The flat has loads to offer, there is scope to develop and reconfigure the upstairs, and, possibly add more dormer space.
We will always have amazing memories of living here in Greenwich. In a place so rammed full of culture and history and yet peaceful with river walks and park picnics.
Perfect to commute from, close to central London and ideal if you want to explore by train, bike, walk or boat, (the Thames Clipper being one of our favourites!)
