“I’ve lived here for six years after settling in very easily to the flat and local area with all the amenities it provides.
It's so ideally situated for anyone who needs to commute into town, as the train station is only a 5 minute walk (links to Charing Cross, London Cannon Street, London Bridge and Kings Cross St. Pancras), or a 10 minute bus journey to North Greenwich which goes into town or direct to Stratford. Over the last few years the retail park has been substantially developed and now includes every amenity anyone would ever need, including a 24/7 gym on the other side of the road. I cannot emphasise how much I will miss being this close to something with literally every shop on its doorstep.
I'm quite into cycling, so local areas that Ive explored and discovered in lockdown extend beyond the local green spaces such as Greenwich Park, Blackheath, Maryon Wilson and Charlton Park, but also the Thames Path which is a great cycle route, and Woolwich Arsenal which will soon have a Crossrail.
I completely renovated the flat before moving in, replacing the floors, bathroom, kitchen, boiler etc. but I was originally attracted to the large amount of space and light it has for a two bedroom place so ideally situated. There is an abundance of storage throughout and each room is a very generous size, and as I let the second bedroom out it was very important for me to be able to offer decent accommodation to a housemate. I knew it would fit the bill for something that I could settle in for several good years and it has served me really well!
As the seller says, this flat epitomises the value of a top 'location, location, location'! An ideal first time purchase with everything right on your doorstep. Who needs a car anymore?
