About this property

**Guide Price £270,000 – £280,000**

The owners of this property put a lot of love into this home, noticing the beautiful original art deco features and nurturing them into amazing condition.

An iron bathtub, original tiles, and refinished parquet floors are just some of the elements you can find along the way, as well as location-wise being just a couple of minutes' walk away from a variety of local amenities and Lee train station.

Located on the second floor of this residential block, the apartment has access to a communal garden space with a kid's play area. The cozy feel of this apartment would be perfect for anyone looking to make their first purchase or for anyone wanting to be in an ideal location.

The property is finished to a high standard and would be ready to move into, with no work needed. The two bedrooms are a good size, and the living room has the opportunity for a reconstituted fireplace. The kitchen and bathroom are in great condition, and overall, this apartment has a clever harmony of the new and the old, creating a comfy balance for anyone.

What the Sellers Say -

"We have loved so many things about this flat and have really enjoyed living here. We initially fell in love with the 1930’s period features, the picture rails, the parquet flooring and the light, airy rooms. This flat gets the sun in the morning on the kitchen side (which makes for a sunny breakfast) and later in the day it gets the golden evening sun in the living room and bedroom. We have used the second bedroom as a studio space to work from home but it could also make a great kids room.

The thing we have probably loved most about living here is the location and the local area. We are just a couple of minutes away from Lee train station that connects to London Bridge and Charing Cross so it’s perfect for commuting or trips into the city. We are just off Burnt Ash Hill which has our favourite local italian restaurant and a great pub. Our flat is also within short walking distance to Hither Green, Blackheath and Greenwich. All places we love for their boutique cafes and shops. We have spent so much time exploring these areas and have really fallen in love with everything they have to offer.

Our building has a communal garden which is great for getting out of the flat and having your lunch or a cup of tea outdoors. There is community feel in the building and the kids love to play in the park in the evenings. There are also loads of green spaces nearby including Manor House Gardens, Mountsfield Park, Blackheath and Greenwich Park. We have spent many a weekend having picnics or drinks with friends in these lovely parks."
